Your hosts Margaret and Dennis Penney came to Himatangi Beach in 2003 determined to make the Himatangi Beach Holiday Park a great place to stay.
Since then, the couple has renovated, landscaped and modernised the camp to provide a safe, secure and affordable family holiday park for you to relax in.
Margaret and Dennis invite you to come and experience their unique, award-winning brand of Kiwi hospitality.
Himatangi: a rugged, beautiful and fun beach
Himatangi is a unique beach for lovely walks or horse treks along the beach. You can even drive onto it and watch the sunset. The camp is only a couple of 100 metres from the main beach which is excellent for swimming, surfing and whitebaiting.
Local attractions and amenities
The local dairy, takeway, cafe and Cosmopolitan Club are within easy walking distance.
An excellent whitebaiting stream, children’s playground, tennis court, outdoor skating rink, mini putt, and bowling club are also close by.
